  • Co-Founder

    Falguni Bhatt is a sculptor, ceramist and installation artist from Baroda, Gujarat. With her heart set on a creative journey, she completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fine Arts with specialisation in ceramic sculpture from the M.S.U. in Baroda in 1999. Falguni's art is all about deconstructing stereotypes of thought and practice, reflecting an intense and deeply sensitive relationship with her surroundings, as well as her state of mind at any given point in time. 

    She has widely exhibited in India and internationally and has received awards for her works; among them, the IAFACS award, the All-India mini sculpture award, and a national scholarship and junior fellowship from the Ministry of Culture in India. She has also curated several international ceramic residencies at Art Ichol, Baroda Ceramic Center and participated in many international residency programs, among them the Jingdezhen International Studio, a solo show at Taoxichuan Art Avenue Museum and at the International Ceramic Studio in Kecskemet, Hungary.

    FAlguni is a member of AIC-IAC (International Academy Of Ceramics) and a founding trustee of ICAF (Indian Ceramic Art Foundation) & “Afsa Fired Art”, Kolkata, India.

  • Co-Founder

    Shirley Bhatnagar operates on the intersection of design, craft and art. She has more than 25 years of professional experience in working with ceramics and has executed interesting projects using Indian crafts.

    She is an alumnus of National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.

    Her work is based on historical and ceramic world traditions.

    Her studio is called Irregular Beauty. She is also known for social and political commentary in her work and uses humor, narrative and illustrations to address larger issues.
